Holiday Engagements

Picture this: you and your honey are all bundled up, out to cut down your Christmas tree. A gentle snow is falling, cheeks are rosy and full of light. Then, your lovely someone whisks you over to a special spot, and there, nestled in the branches of a beautiful spruce, is your dream engagement ring.

I know, right?

We’re all experiencing an overflow of friends and loved ones getting newly engaged for the holiday season. I mean, what better time of year to pop the big question, than the merriest and brightest of times!
Families will be gathered together, and what a better time to show off that new ring and get congratulated.
I mean, there’s nothing wrong with one more thing to celebrate!

Winter Engagement Photos

Ideas for engagement photos are endless. Between beautiful styling blogs, Pintrest, and all of your girlfriends/boyfriends inputs, there’s a lot of directions to take things in.
Take the opportunity with a Holiday engagement, to do an AMAZING winter photo session.
I’m saying, Christmas cards for the next year or two!
The options are endless, and some of my favorite winter engagement shots are below.

Show Off That Ring

With chic cocktail dresses and new holiday do’s, take the time to get yourself a holiday manicure that shows off that ring!
While I don’t pamper myself to any long stretch, I do make sure I always have a professional manicure, and for 25-35 dollars, it’s well worth it. Nothing makes me feel as put together as a fresh manicure, in both my professional and social life, ESPECIALLY at the holidays, and add in an engagement ring; everyone will be staring at your hands!

I suggest keeping it bold, one flat color.
Of course, a classic red will draw those eyes right to those hands, and let the engagement gushing begin!

Sometimes, nothing is more chic and moody than a dark simple polish. Let that ring shine!

Enjoy it, be merry and married.
Cheers loves!
